Magdaling Wenger explained in a friendly way to Daniela of the MET show office that we are in desperate need of 8 boxes knowing that the show was fully booked. After some time on the waiting we were approved last minute.
Chloé Uffenheimer who moved to our stables at the beginning of September 2022 took the chance to join us with two horses. She had started to train at home with Aarhof’s Casanova. Not knowing how he will perform at the show this was the place to figure it out.
Laura showed Cadenz, Bruno Kalt’s Uri and Michel Frey’s Tamina. Reason for the owners to come and visit us and the horses in Oliva Nova.
They all enjoyed the sunny days and the time at the beach.
The results reflect the good spirit amongst the team, Oona’s perfect management of the horses and the rider’s abilities.
Cadenz ridden by Laura was placed 4th in a 135cm and 8th the final of the Bronce Tour. Tamina 8th and 13th in a 130 class.
Lolli and Schoggi ridden by Magdalina Wenger had booked their clear rounds in advance.
When Chloé Uffenheimer felt confident riding Aarhof’s Casanova she decided to compete at the 1.15 cm class. No one expected her to reach the jump off and finishing the course with only one mistake at the last fence.
Motivated by this result she entered for another two rounds. One of them in the pouring rain accompanied by thunder and lightning. She was placed 5th and rewarded by a ribbon.
The super star of the show with no doubts was Twinky, Magdalina’s gorgeous Shetland pony.

Magdalina generously invited the whole crew for dinner at the Galyvine restaurant to her birthday party. Her husband Diego flew in from Switzerland to celebrate as well as his parents Bruno and Evi.
Aschi, our cook for 10 days entertained us with delicious meals and lively discussions about politics.

Nadja Peter Steiner, riding herself, organized our afternoon Cava sessions and later Nils whom we had not seen since they moved to France.
