Castles Stables is a successful showjumping stable located in the beautiful Schenkenberger valley in Thalheim, Switzerland. The stable is surrounded by beautiful rolling hills, vineyards, and forests. Castle Stables central location is perfect for international horse shows and easily accessible from two different airports (Zürich / Basel-Müllhouse). The position is excellent to reach competitions all over Europe within a day’s travelling distance.

Horses have always been a way of life for the Aschwanden family and their passion turned into a dedicated sport when they decided to found Castle Stables in 2012. It turned into a fully-equipped facility offering training to all levels of riders and horses. The stable provides the perfect environment for developing the potential in young horses and shaping them into Grand Prix champions. We’re also skilled in buying and selling quality show jumping horses from around the world for our clients.
