It was a short transfer from Sentower Park in Belgium to Peelbergen in the Netherlands.
To our surprise we encountered the most famous names on the rider’s list participating at the show.
Philippe Guerdat chef d’équipe of the Brazilian team explained to us that many teams chose this event as a warm-up for the World Equestrian Games in Herning Denmark that takes place in the middle of August.
Christina Savaris, Nadine Deville and Laura had to compete against these well known riders in the show jumping world. They had to accomplish the high level of courses built by the course designer not to produce too many clear rounds. Bruno Kalt our assistant trainer joined us to explain the technical details.
To be placed was a success:
Christina 7th with Lissadell, Laura 6th with Cadenz, 5th with Aarhof’s Casanova and 9th with Clarence
Laura faced the 145cm ranking class which was the qualifier for the GP with Clarence. To control him between the jumps was not easy. They finished the course with a happy smile on the face.
