We decided to attend the CSIO – Nations Cup Youth Final in Lear to experience the target that Tori Rowe will have to face as a Junior Rider in 2025.
It was impressive to watch the Nations Cup and individual classes that they had to accomplish.
The US were present with a Junior and Young Riders team led by the Chef d’equipe Anne Kursinski. Great opportunity for Tori’s parents Jeff and Amy Rowe to gather with the parents of the US riders. They exchanged contacts with Anne Kursinski to update her on results from Tori and keep her in mind for future team competitions in Europe.
Tori rode the CSI1* amongst mostly riders of her age. With a 2nd place in the 115 class she proved her strength to focus on her task under pressure. On Sunday she took the challenge to jump the 120 class with bravura.
Laura rode Miss Pippa in the 120 classes and BP Casablanca and Mortimer in the 130.
All horses performed well – BP Casablanca outstanding. He was double clear in the small GP placed 6th.
Alicia prepared the horses doing great advertising for Castle Stables. They performed as well as they looked. Overall Lier was motivation for Tori to move on and get results in 130 classes in Oliva and Vejer della Frontera, the two upcoming shows in October 2024.
