It was worth the long drive! Leaving Thalheim at 04.00 and arriving at St. Margarethen at 15.00. Finishing the show with a 7th place for Tori Rowe in the small GP on Lion Man and Laura placed with Miss Pippa – moments we are living for.

Since it was the first time that this event took place we were excited to find „Reiterhof Stückler“ situated in the spectacular countryside of Kärnten surrounded by forest, lakes and castles. Wellness for riders and horses.

Tori Rowe riding her horses BP Lion Man, Tamina and Cascadella, Laura BP Queen of Hearts, BP Casablanca and Miss Pippa.

It was a pleasure to see how the horses improved competing during the 10 days of our stay. They enjoyed the daily routine grassing and walking for 30 minutes. It made them highly motived to perform at their best.

Aside of the 7th place at the 1* GP we celebrate Tori’s Lion Man jumping clear in another 1.35 class, Tamina placed 5th and 7th in the 1.25, Laura’s BP Casablanca jumping clear in the 1.40 class, Miss Pippa placed 6th in a 1.20 and BP Queen of Hearts clear in a her first 1.20 class.

Aside of competing we explored Kärnten, the castles, the restaurants, made friends with the policemen stopping us with four people in the back of the car. Jeff Rowes charms convinced them that we had no other option than sitting all together in his car since three of us arrived with the truck.

Alicia Stein produced the horses up to Castle Stables standards protecting them from the heat. Michel Frey arrived to share the long drive home with Laura from St. Margarethen, a place you like to return.
