The stables were nicely prepared on arrival of our 11 horses in Cervia. Alica and Veronika had loaded the two trucks carefully, thinking of every little detail that had to be packed.

All ready for our riders, Chloé Uffenheimer showing Covetous, Grenade d’Albizia and Vigo Cruz, Alicia Stein her horse Atlas and Laura Casatoki, Master C, Aarhof’s Contharga and Casablanca. Milla Frey’s could not compete her two horses Quin du Rouet and Clarence V the first weekend since she was sick and had to stay home. Nadine Deville with Lariano could only show the second weekend.

Two horses were showing for the first time:

Grenade d’Albizia with Chloé Uffenheimer and Atlas who joined us from Canada a few weeks ago with Alicia Stein

Both horses were focused on their job jumping their rounds calm and relaxed to the pleasure of their riders and all of us.

Vigo Cruz and Covetous went up the steps since the show in Truccazzano. They were highly motivated showing clear round after clear round on a higher level.

Casablanca jumping the 1.30 classes was placed twice 8th. The „babies“ Aarhof’s Contharga and Master C both got more confident since Truccazzano. Casatoki still nervous in the warmup but then jumping well in the ring.

The second weekend Nadine Deville joined us to ride Lariano and Milla was fit again to compete on Clarence and Quin du Rouet.

Having jumped Lariano only once at home it was not easy for Nadine to adjust to his big strides. Milla could only show Clarence. She had three clear rounds and was placed in each of them. Quin du Rouet did not compete since he was not feeling well.

Bruno Kalt’s help on the ground was highly appreciated. There were sometimes three horses showing in the ring one after the other whose riders needed his support and instructions.

David, Chloé’s husband was in charge of the video production and the water refill for the horses.

The ten days were a perfect mix of sport and holidays in a ambiance of hearty people, beach and sunshine combined with Italian hospitality.
