Two weeks of sunshine, beach and a perfect setting for horses and riders made this event unique.

On the way to Oliva Nova we collected Tori Rowe’s new ride Cascadella FW at the border in Basel. After a stopover in Perpignan eight horses arrived well at the showground.

Tori was challenged riding her two new horses. Tamina in the 1.30 and Cascadella in the 1.10. She kept calm and focused on her task. The horses responded with confidence and made it look easy. Foundation layed to move on to Vejer del la Frontera for the bigger classes.

Chloé unfortunately injured herself on her way to Oliva Nova. First week she could only ride on Sunday. Next week full three days. Vigo Cruz in the 1.20 and Covetous in the 1.10. Both horses jumped amazing and Chloé enjoying every moment.

Laura rode her two young horses in the 7 year old classes. Mortimer and BP Casablanca showed their quality. Easy rounds for both of them.

JJ jumped the 1.20 classes and Miss Pippa in the 1.30. Both performing at their best.

We had great support from Lisa and Ken Uffenheimer, Chloe’s parents who visited us from the US as well as from her husband David and Amy Rowe.

Bruno Kalt and Jeff Rowe flew in for the second weekend. Jeff could stay two days to watch Tori riding her new ride, two memorable days above all the evenings.

We were spoilt by Aschi’s „haute cuisine“. He brought a folder with different menus from Switzerland that we could choose from. They all turned out delicious.

Thanks to our top grooms Alicia Stein and Kate Horakova we were able to enjoy every minute aside of the showground knowing that the horses were well looked after.

It was the perfect combination of sport and leisure sharing with the dearest people and the most wonderful horses.
